Špindlerův Mlýn
The centre of Špindlerův Mlýn is situated at the confluence of the Elbe and Dolský potok at an altitude of 710 m above sea level, with around 1,300 permanent residents (in winter the capacity increases to 10-15,000 accommodation units).
Exceptional climatic conditions and diverse mountain nature have contributed to the fact that Špindlerův Mlýn has gradually transformed into one of the most important and most sought-after tourist resorts in the Czech Republic. The wide range of sports and recreational opportunities are the main reasons why Špindlerův Mlýn has become a year-round destination.

"Špindl" was made for skiing - so is the strategic location of the pension, which allows skiers to get to the nearest ski slope Hromovka in 600m or to the opposite side of the resort (Medvědín) in less than 900m. For transportion to both location you may use the free ski bus (almost behind our guesthouse).

Špindlerův Mlýn, the largest winter sports resort in Czech republic
Ski areal Špindlerův Mlýn as the most famous winter sports resort in the Czech Republic offers skiing in five locations - Svatý Petr, Medvědín, Hromovka, Horní Mísečky and Labská. In addition to groomed downhill trails of all levels of difficulty, which are covered with technical snow, the resort offers 30 km of downhill trails, about 70 km of cross-country ski trails and more than 130 km of ridge trails. Approximately 21,000 people per hour are transported by 6 cableways, 11 ski lifts and 3 snow parks.
Thanks to a single ski pass, you can choose any slope depending on whether you are an experienced skier or a family with children. Svatý Petr or slope Stoh are especially made for experienced skiers. On the other hand, Medvědín, Horní Mísečky and Labská offer ideal conditions for beginners and families with children.
